Late at night in the town of Pokari
When the moon was full and the sky was starry
A magical sleigh flew overhead
While the citizens of the city lay in bed
This trip has been made hundreds of times before
Delivering gifts to girls and boys since the days of yore
But during one fateful trip a tragedy occurred
One of the creatures pulling the sleigh got separated from the herd
It fell down from the heavens in a shining flash
Landing on poor Ray’s roof with a loud crash
Ray then ran outside to see what from the sky did appear
And found himself face to face with a real life reindeer!
Now falling from such great heights is no gentle feat
So Ray cared for that reindeer and gave it plenty to eat
And once it was of good health, let it outside to roam
So that maybe it could finally fly away to return home.
Sadly though, after the fall, it forgot how to fly
But Ray, not giving up because he’s such a good guy
Found it a temporary home in Heaven’s Repository
So that maybe some kind soul would adopt it and start their own story
Now even though it can’t fly, it can still give you a ride
And if you show it kindness, it will never leave your side
