When Jade Dynasty: Legacy launches in mid-December, you’ll be able to fight in Crimson Peaks, the biggest and best instance ever released for Jade Dynasty!
The backstory of Legacy revolves around the ancient secrets of Incense Valley, and there’s no better way to reveal them than to send players back in time. In the Crimson Peaks voidland, players will be fighting their way towards the valley’s Bahun Soulflame Array.
In addition to receiving tons of Taichi Pills and more, players will be able to collect shards of a Kirin Sigil. This powerful item guarantees refining for equipment up to +9.

First off, just to be clear: Crimson Peaks is big. Gigantic, really. This instance isn’t just multi-staged and sprawling over a map almost as large as some of the normal, non-instanced zones: it’s available for ten to 25 characters. That’s ten more characters than can fight in Moontop Hollow, making Crimson Peaks easily the biggest instance in Jade Dynasty.

Of course, the obvious concern is that you won’t be able to get enough players together to reach that maximum – or that you’ll have to blow all your Telepathy Gems to get people together. Forget about that, because Crimson Peaks gives the Voidland sign-up a major overhaul.
When a player activates Crimson Peaks, it creates a room or lobby that’s independent of the current Realm. That means that a character on Realm 15 can see and join a room activated on Realm 5; the rooms will stay open for up to ten minutes.

And the very best part of the new UI: If you get disconnected while playing, you can rejoin the instance.

As for Crimson Peaks itself… we don’t want to spoil everything. The first time you play through it, your jaw is going to drop, and we want to preserve that sense of awe: the valley is full of grand vistas and cinematic touches that bring the battle in Incense Valley to life.

Here’s the spoiler-free version, just to whet your appetite:
1) Crimson Peaks is built to let rookies play too. Like Moontop Hollow, the instance provides a buff that gives characters access to their Tier 5 skills and increased Max Health.
2) Crimson Peaks will reveal the story of Jade Dynasty: Legacy. Five hundred years ago, an ancient evil stained Incense Valley. Through quests and NPC chat dialog, players will learn about why the Forta and the Incense Valley Mages are now gaining strength, and come to understand what brought together a Jadeon master and a herald of Vim.
3) You’ll be able to complete side quests within Crimson Peaks. The battle of the Bahun Soulflame Array is not just a single thread, but a tapestry weaving together the course of hundreds of lives. To fully unravel it, you may need to return several times.
4) In Crimson Valley, players will be able to gather Kirin Sigil Shards; there will be a quest available for all players in the group when certain conditions are met. This is the first time players can get a Kirin Sigil as a reward for in-game adventures. When refining, this Sigil guarantees refining for any equipment of up to +9; a +9 gear would be guaranteed to refine to +10. This sigil is not tradable.

Jade Dynasty: Legacy is coming soon; prepare for trials and treasure!
There is glory in the darkness,
there is passion in the night
far beyond the cold protection
of the mountain’s distant heights.
The darkness will prove fleeting
and the light will have its way,
but the choices born in darkness
must be suffered by the day.
