Teased at GDC this year, a whole new Mario game made for the 3DS was announced but was painfully short on info. Fortunately, everything changed at today’s Nintendo press conference. Like it was plucked out of the minds of every Mario 3 lover, it looks like a fully 3D Mario that’s incredibly reverent to Mario’s history. And yes, there is a Tanooki suit.
Not to put it lightly but we can’t wait to play this game and are nearly ready to stop writing right now and run to Nintendo’s booth. Just look at all those amazing characters and enemies from Mario’s past. Stay tuned for more info as we learn it.
